Happy (Late) New Year!
I finished all 14 or 15 of my new books from Half-Price Books in about 2 days. I went to Barnes and Noble the other night and got a new book and finished it before it was time for bed. So now I want more books, and Mom keeps saying that I need to pace myself. Honestly, that *was* me pacing myself.
For Christmas I got:
Candy
An extra guitar for Guitar Hero
Books
A magnifying glass
Some UFC DVDs
Jon and Kate Plus 8, Season 3 on DVD
A coffee cup
Starbucks gift card
Half-Price Books gift card
Well, I have to go do more schoolwork. Thanks for reading!

Insert Witty Title Here
Ioan's Spore creatures were by far the coolest out of all of ours.
Me, Liliana, and Roman playing Guitar Hero.
I have no New Year's resolutions, and don't plan on having any. That way, I don't have to go through with anything. Besides, I'm lazy. xD
So, I got 14 or 15 books yesterday morning and I've finished about 4 so far. Pace myself? What's that?
I'd write more, but I still have to do logic and OYAN. Thanks for reading!

Updates
Muse was doing schoolwork the other day. I took some pictures. Is he not adorable?
So, I have almost no idea what I want for my birthday, Christmas, or Hanukkah. I'm either incredibly picky or I just don't want much. Possibly both. I have no idea what I'm going to make the cake look like. I kind of have a color scheme; blue, purple, and possibly red. Maybe have the cake in the shape of an octagon, perhaps? (UFC for the win!) Probably not, as Mom would freak out, 'cause she hates MMA.
I'd write more, but Julianah and Amanda are on their way. Thanks for reading!

Updates O' Plenty!

Don't believe everything you read!
Another person posted that they thought it would only get worse, because now even more hackers knew about the security hole in the site. Kreepyjess (Jessica) replied to that particular post, saying "Posting scams about getting 'free paintbrushes if you go here' and redirecting people to an off-site link with malicious coding is NOT a security hole in the site. It's a security hole in the head of anyone who falls for it."
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,530684,00.html?test=latestnews
"Nearly half of players are between the ages of 8 and 12, although some are as young as 6, and they communicate with each other while at play."
You can only communicate with other players if you are 13 or above, or if a parent has sent in the parental permission form. Or of course, if you lie about your age, which is what a lot of kids do.
"They're sent a seemingly innocuous e-mail or private message on the Neopets bulletin boards telling them about a secret Web site that will let them make their own magic paintbrushes — without having to spend precious points for them."
You cannot give out your e-mail on Neopets. However, you can send a person a Neomail. (Which are moderated and filtered) Nothing on the Neoboards is private, and it's not necessarily a "secret website" that gives you free stuff. There are lots of cookie grabbing scams, including:
- Luring people to your shop with easy to sell items at a much lower price than they are worth. Some have found coding loopholes which makes it so that buying the item is impossible, but you are still cookie grabbed. These generally hit Premium users more, but anyone who visits shops like those can be cookie grabbed.
- Putting cookie grabbers into a fake reply box on a Neoboard. Buying a Neoboard Pen at the Neocash Mall, which gives you the option of another font to use and more space to type, so it will appear that the reply box is part of their font. They are generally veered to the left, therefore cutting off parts of the left-hand side. If you have Neoboard pens, you won't be able to see the option to use them, which makes it easy to spot that it is not legit.
- Fake Tarla links. Every few days or so, there is an Ixi named Tarla who gives out free items. People have been faking Tarla links and posting the fake links, which truly links to a cookie grabber, and not Tarla.
- User look-ups, pet look-ups, petpages, galleries, shops, guilds, etc. Basically anywhere you can input your own coding, scammers can and have put cookie grabbers in those places.
- Neomails. As far as I know, people have not been able to directly put cookie grabbers in Neomails, but they can and will Neomail links to people with cookie grabbers on the pages.
Please not that these are only the most common ways that people have been cookie grabbed.
"Passwords to banking sites, account information, Social Security and credit card numbers all become fair game."
Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't a cookie grabber only grab the cookies from the site you're on when you're cookie grabbed? For example, say you're playing Neopets. You see a really good snipe on a codestone, and click on the link to buy it. You click and click, but it won't let you buy it, but it's still there. Within minutes, your Neopoints, pets, and items are all gone, your password is changed, as well as your e-mail address which is what you need to retrieve a lost password. A little bit later, your account is frozen. Do they only get your cookies from Neopets, or all of your cookies stored in your browser?
"While social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook and Neopets spell out conditions against such practices and publicly warn users of the potential threats of infiltration, it's really up the user"
Neopets is not a social networking site, and the staff does not inform users of the cookie grabbing scams. Users inform other users.
Just my 2 Neopoints. =) (Err, cents) Thank you for reading and putting up with my ranting.
By the way, could anyone besides me tell that the person who wrote the Fox News article obviously didn't play?

Random Tangents
Ethan's going to watch his friend Nathan's hamster while he and his family are on vacation in Europe. He's so excited, it doesn't even seem natural. xD
I'm trying to save up for an iTouch/laptop/both. However, if I'm actually going to get even just an iTouch, Mom will have to cut me off of Starbucks and Half-Price Books. xD
Fernando chewed up my Apple earbuds, and they are now being held together with tape, so I call them my ghetto buds. xD I need a pair of Skull Candy earbuds. Furthermore, that way I can compare those to Gumy earbuds.
So You Think You Can Dance is on tonight, so I'm pretty excited for that. I can't wait to see who goes home!
I can practically see your eyes glazing over, so I'll stop blabbing now. xD Thanks for reading!

Stories:
Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn't seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps "My friend is dead! What can I do?" The operator says "Calm down, I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead." There is a silence, and then a shot is heard. Back on the phone, the guy says "Okay, now what?"
A duck walks into a toy store. He goes up to the cashier and asks, "Do you have any bread?" The cashier tells him, "No, sorry," so the duck leaves. The next day, the duck comes back. "Do you have any bread?" he asks. "No," said the cashier. The duck leaves, but he returns the next day. "Do you have any bread?" he asks. "No!" said the cashier. "This is a toy store! We don't sell bread!" The duck leaves, and the cashier thinks she's gotten rid of him. However, the next day he comes back and asks the cashier, "Do you have any bread?" The cashier became extremely angry. "Listen," she said, "If you come back in here one more time asking me that, I'll nail your beak shut!" She pushes the duck out the door. The next day, the duck comes back and walks up the cashier. "Do you have any nails?" he asks. "No," said the cashier. "Good, then do you have any bread then?"
George Phillips, an elderly man from Meridian, Mississippi, was going up to bed, when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window. George opened the back door to go turn off the light, but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things. He phoned the police, who asked “Is someone in your house?” He said “No.” Then they said “All patrols were busy. You should lock your doors and an officer will be along when one is available.” George said, “Okay.” He hung up the phone and counted to 30. Then he phoned the police again. “Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people stealing things from my shed. Well, you don't have to worry about them now because I just shot them.” and he hung up.Within five minutes, six police cars, a SWAT team, a helicopter, two fire trucks, a paramedic, and an ambulance showed up at the Phillips' residence, and caught the burglars red-handed. One of the policemen said to George, “I thought you said that you'd shot them!”
George said “I thought you said there was nobody available!”
A mother took her 3-year-old daughter to church for the first time. The church lights were lowered, and then the choir came down the aisle, carrying lighted candles. All was quiet until the little one started to sing in a loud voice, "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you..."
A nursery school teacher was delivering a station wagon full of kids home one day when a fire truck zoomed past. Sitting in the front seat of the fire truck was a Dalmatian. The children fell to discussing the dog's duties. "They use him to keep crowds back," said one youngster.
"No," said another, "he's just for good luck."
A third child brought the argument to a close. "They use the dogs," she said firmly, "to find the fire hydrant."
One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do thedishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head. She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, "Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?" Her mother replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white." The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then remembering her mother was an only child, said "Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?"
The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture. "Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up and say,‘There's Jennifer; she's a lawyer,’ or ‘That's Michael. He's a doctor.’" A small voice at the back of the room rang out, "And there's the teacher. She's dead."
Ashley loves going on websites, and one day, she wanted to sign up for the Disney website. Ashley's mom noticed her Disney password was "MickeyMinnieGoofyPluto," and asked why it was so long. "Because," Ashley explained, "they said it has to have at least four characters."
Her mother decided that 10-year-old Susie should get something practical for her birthday. "Suppose we open a savings account for you?" she suggested. Susie was delighted. "It's your account, darling," Susie's mother said, "so you fill out the application." Susie was doing fine until she came to the space for "Name of your former bank". With just a slight hesitation, she put down "Piggy."
A mother and her young son returned from the grocery store and began putting away the groceries. The boy opened the box of animal crackers and spread them all over the table. "What are you doing?" his mother asked. "The box says you can't eat them if the seal is broken," the boy explained. "I'm looking for the seal."
Two small boys were overheard talking at the zoo one day. "My name is Billy. What's yours?" asked the first boy.
"Tommy," replied the second.
"My Daddy's an accountant. What does your Daddy do for a living?" asked Billy.
Tommy replied, "My Daddy's a lawyer."
"Honest?" asked Billy.
"No, just the regular kind," replied Tommy.
Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson were going camping. They pitched their tent under the stars and went to sleep. Sometime in the middle of the night Holmes woke Watson up and said "Watson, look up at the stars and tell me, what do you see?"
Watson replied "I see millions and millions of stars."
Holmes said "And what do you deduce from that?"
Watson replied "Well, if there are millions of stars, and if even a few of those have planets, it's quite likely there are some planets like Earth out there. And if there are a few planets like Earth out there, there might also be life."
And Holmes said "Watson, you idiot, it means that somebody stole our tent."
A boss wondered why one of his most valued employees was absent but had not phoned in sick one day. Needing to have an urgent problem with one of the main computers resolved, he dialed the employee's home and was greeted with a child's whisper. “Hello?”
“Is your daddy home?” he asked.
“Yes,” whispered the small voice.
“May I talk with him?”
The child whispered, “No.”
Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked “Is your Mommy there?”
“Yes.”
“May I talk with her?”
Again the small voice whispered, “No.” Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss asked, “Is anybody else there?” “Yes,” whispered the child, “a policeman.”
Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee's home, the boss asked, “May I speak with the policeman?”
“No, he's busy,” whispered the child.
“Busy doing what?”
“Talking to Daddy and Mommy and the fireman,” the child whispered.
Growing more worried as he heard a loud noise in the background through the earpiece on the phone, the boss asked, “What is that noise?”
“A helicopter,” answered the whispering voice.
“What is going on there?” demanded the boss, now truly apprehensive. Again, whispering, the child answered, “The search team just landed a helicopter.”Alarmed, concerned and a little frustrated the boss asked, “What are they searching for?”
Still whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle.... “ME!”
A young girl calls her friend, who happens to be a boy, to come over because she is having trouble with a jigsaw puzzle. He gets to her house and finds the puzzle she is working on and looks at the box and lets out a long sigh and says, "Honey, the puzzle will never look like this rooster. Now let's put the corn flakes back in the box and let's watch a movie."

Teacher: Winnie, name one important thing we have today that we didn't have ten years ago.
Winnie: Me!
During a visit to the mental asylum, a man asked the director how they determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized. "Well," said the director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."
"Oh, I understand," the man said. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."
"No," said the director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a bed near the window?"

P.S. I am NOT going for the world record. The record is 177,737, over a span of 20 hours and 20 minutes. But if I raise my score by 2,000 bounces every day over 365 days, I will have crushed the record. But that's highly unlikely.

Update
Allycat now calls me by name! (Sort of...She calls me Ra ra, Bear Bear, and Mommy) But we're working on Sierra. :)
I bought 9 more songs off of iTunes, which brings the total of songs on my iPod to...*Drumroll* 278 songs, which leaves me with less than 50 MB left of space. (For all of you who aren't computer savvy; not a lot of space left)
I now need to buy a new binder for my drawings, as it is totally full. (Which hasn't stopped me from drawing more pictures, though. *Ahem!*)
Mom is now making us wash our bedding once a week. :K (Ugh...) Now, for most people, that isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I'm on the top bunk, and I like to tuck all the blankets and sheets in like a package. (I don't know why; I just do. Maybe it's some psychological thing...)
Warning: Neopets related news ahead!
I've gotten 3 (!!!) new avatars in the past week or so, which makes it a total of 227 so far.
I got Bronze on Better Than You, thanks to the release of 5 new Wingoball levels.
I recently transferred a new pet over. She's a Green Kougra. Her name is YonicaBabyyeah, after one of the main characters in Hilary Duff's new movie. I plan to paint her Shadow as soon as I get the NP, and save up my real life money to buy some NC, so I can buy her a background and the Dark Princess Superpack.

Update
Alison and Ethan are learning LOTS of new words! Some of their new words are poop, boo boo, truck, no, fight, and mine.
I have recently gotten addicted to Neopets again, and I have pretty much gone off of Toontown.
Ethan and I started Taekwondo last month with Mr. Lee. He's very nice, and we have learned the following moves:
Axe kick
Side kick (I'm not talking about the cell phone)
Roundhouse kick
And how to punch correctly. It's super fun, and I can't wait until I get my yellow belt.
Abby started ballet last month with Mom's old ballet teacher, Ms. Judith Ross. She is loving it, and has already made some new friends.
Ciao for now,

Update
On December 8th, it was my turn for a birthday party. I turned 12, and had an AWESOME time. We had a pinata, ghost stories, makeovers, and random, crazy dance parties. (If anyone's curious, I didn't fall asleep until 3 AM. Ahem! Moving on!)
Hanukkah started on December 4th. I got a Hannah Montana 2008 calendar, clothes, a gift card to Build a Bear, a 3 disc Selena CD collection, and 4-6 lovely, glorious books.
As you all know, Christmas is technically celebrated on December 25th. However, Ethan, Abby, and I celebrated it on December 21st. I got clothes, a new coat, new gloves, shower gel, Hannah Montana: Music Jam and Cooking Mama for Nintendo DS, and High School Musical: Sing It! for the PS2, a Hannah Montana blanket, a Hannah Montana pillow, Hannah Montana, Life's What You Make It DVD, and a Bedazzler. Oh yeah, and TONS of candy.
Happy birthday to:
Liliana
Aunt Desiree
Uncle Jack
My cousin, Nicole (Nicole, if you're reading this, what color is your hair now?)
The twinsies are expanding their vocabulary! Alison's new word is "mine." She repeats this all day and sounds like those seagulls in Finding Nemo. She says this when Baby Ethan tries to take her toys. My personal favorite is when she hits him, shake her finger at him, and say "NO NO NO! Mine!"
Baby Ethan's new word is "truck." He says this when he hears the garbage truck coming down the street. When he hears this, he RUNS to the window, continually yells "TRUCK!" and throws a hissy fit until we pick him up so he can actually *SEE* the garbage truck. (Those blasted rhododendron bushes get in the way) It's so cute!
Well, I have to go to bed. Ciao for now!

A-Z Me
B is for Babies.
C is for Creativity.
D is for Partially Deaf, as I tend to not listen to people from time to time. (Ahem)
E is for Energetic.
F is for Fwee! (Something I often say when I get excited) F is also for Frappucinos.
G is for "GIVE ME MY BOOK BACK!" Abby likes to put my glasses on and read my books when I'm not in the room.
H is for Hannah Montana, one of my favorite singers. H is also for Haikus, which I love to write.
I is for Inventive. I like to create things like piggybanks out of juice cartons, and snowglobes out of baby food jars. It is also for Israel Calderon, the ADORABLE Yorkie prince!
J is for "Just give me Alison, and nobody gets told on!" I often say this to Abby, as she is a bit clingy to Allycat when I'm not in the room. (And occasionally when I'm in the room as well)
K is for KitKats. They are one of my favorite candies.
L is for Lemon Gumdrops. YUM!!
M is for Mexican. I'm approximately 3/4 Mexican, Mom says.
N is for "NO!" When Abby tells me to kiss our dog on the lips.
O is my mouth when Baby Ethan finishes half of a grilled cheese sandwich in 2 minutes flat or less! :O
P is for Patience, which I severly lack.
Q is for Question. I am very inquisitve.
R is for "Really? I'll alert the news media. Would you prefer Komo 4, King 5, or Q13?" I often say this sarcastically when somebody says something totally obvious.
S is for Sarcasm, something I tend to use often. S is also for Starbucks.
T is for Tea, which I love to drink.
U is for Ugh! (As in, "gross" Ugh, not "weird" Ugh. Something I say when I see Uggs.)
V is for Vermicelli. Vermicelli means "worm" in Italian, and since I like to find earthworms and dissect them, I figured, why not?
W is for "WHOA!" (Something I say just about every time Abby shows me her face after she gives herself a makeover)
X is for Xylophone. I love the sound of them!
Y is for "YUCK! Do I have to eat these enchiladas?" (Something I ask Mom when she tries to make me eat enchiladas for dinner)
Z is for ZING! Which is the sound that Ethan's toy swords make when we duel together.
There! Happy, Mom? :)
