Birthdays, Colds, Infections, and Plots

Happy birthday to me, my friend Liliana, my cousin Nicole, Uncle Anthony, Uncle Randy, and Aunt Desiree! (Did I miss anyone else?)

For my birthday, I'm having a monkey-themed slumber party! It's on Saturday, and I've only invited a small amount of people this year; my friend Liliana, mentioned above, my friend Deedee, mentioned in numerous previous posts, my friend Lindsey, Julianah, who is my little sister, Abby's, friend, and very sweet, and I will be inviting the new girl in our Shabbat School, Eden, the next time I see her.

Ethan and Abby are sick with colds, while I'm sick with a double ear infection, and a sinus infection, not to mention a nasty cough. :( And, to my delight, (not!) I'm back on my nose spray! Yay! (Please note the sarcasm in "Yay!")

There's a plot (aka, a puzzle) on a website I like to play on (www.neopets.com), and guess what? I finished it a few hours ago! It took me a while, since I quit doing it for a few months after I got stuck on a particular part, but I was bored, so I started where I left off, got past the part I was stuck on, and finished everything else I had to do. The prizes rock, and I got a cool trophy. (Not a real one; it's on the website)

Abby Moment

*TV commentator voice* And now ladies and gentlemen, to your entertainment, the latest Abby Moment! (Drumroll, please!)

Warning: Do not read this blog post unless you do not mind if you get a stomach-ache while laughing. We in no way take responsibility for stomach-aches, excessive giggling until the next week, or sore hands from slapping your hands on the desk. (Mom and I do that all of the time when we read something funny on the computer)

I wrote how much money I had on a Spongebob Stickynote, and put it above the desk in my room, so I wouldn't forget how much money I had the next time we went shopping. (I have $19.50) My handwriting was a bit sloppy, and Abby didn't see the decimal between the 9 and the 5, so she looked at me, smiled, and confidently said "You have one hundred nineteen fifty dollars."

Tune in next time for another Abby Moment!

*Switches back to regular voice* See? I told you it'd make you laugh!

Well, I should be back in a few days, when the next Abby Moment occurs.

Awana, Birthdays, and a New Book

Tomorrow's Awana. YAY! (And tomorrow is also the Awana Store. Double yay!)

We went to a birthday party today. It was for 2 siblings, a 5 year old and a 7 year old. It was fun, and the girls fought the boys with balloon swords. It was quite fun.

I'm working on a new story; The Adventures of Candy Girl and Monkey Boy, Volume 2! It should be finished in a few months. I've been working on it for a while, but I don't really have an idea for a good plot.... (I don't really have a plot worked out yet, but I have written a few pages of it so far.) Any ideas?

Gymanstics, and an Abby Moment

Yesterday was my first day at gymnastics. It was very fun, and I am now a Level 4 gymnast, instead of a Level 3 gymnast. YAY! I go to gymnastics on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 7:00 PM-8:30 PM.

I have something really funny, so here it is. *Takes a deep breath* Mom said we could have 1 small piece of candy for dessert, so after dinner, Abby got out her candy bag, which was about 1/4 or so full of candy, she dipped her head in the candy bag and inhaled deeply. After inhaling and exhaling, she came up out of the bag, and said "it smells like candy in there." (It was really hard for me not to burst out laughing hysterically.) What an Abby Moment!

McKenna, Bubba, and the Hannah Montana Soundtrack

I haven't posted in 9 days, and I still don't have much to write! (Although Mom has not posted in 13 days, and I know she's got quite a few things to write about!)

We are baby-sitting McKenna (Porter's older sister, I've mentioned her a couple of times.) along with a lot of other kids every weekday before they leave.

McKenna, Porter, and their parents are moving on Friday. : (

The CD I've been waiting to buy since about March or so is FINALLY out today! I might buy it on Friday. No promises, though. (Just in case anybody wants to know, it's the Hannah Montana Soundtrack.)

Well, I have to go. Bye!

Pirates, all the Babysitees, and my Lucky Bracelet

Again, I haven't posted in almost a week! (4 days) Double eeek!!

We rented "Pirates of the Caribbean, Curse of Black Pearl" today. I liked it. It was very funny! I loved the part where Captain Jack Sparrow said "But why is the rum gone!?"

We've got all of the kids tomorrow, (Porter, Rachel, Ethan, and Alison) so I'm going to have to go to bed a bit early today, since I have to get up at about 7:00 AM or so. (Groan!)

Mom said that when "Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Man's Chest" comes out on DVD, we can rent it. Yay!

I just found out yesterday that I have a lucky bracelet. (Which is why I'm going to try to wear it every day, for luck.) It's purple, blue, pink, and yellow. It's very pretty, and stylish. (In my opinion, anyways!)

Well, I need to go. It's almost dinner time, and I need to clean my room. And besides, I have nothing else to write, and my hands are starting to hurt.

Halloween, Baby Ethan, Julianah, and the Baby Shower

Hi everyone! I haven't posted in about a week. EEK!

Well, I've decided what to be for Halloween; Pocahontas, from Pocahontas.

Baby Ethan fell asleep in my arms yesterday! He was really tired though, so it wasn't really a surprise. But he fell asleep in the same amount of time it takes Mom to go to the bathroom, maybe a bit less.

Abby's friend Julianah is coming over on Friday.

The baby shower went well. Everyone had a good time, including all of us kids!

Well, I need to sign off. Bye!

Baby Shower, Twins, Grandma's House, and Church

Hi everyone! There's not much to write today, so this'll probably be a really short post.

We're having a baby shower for my Mom's friend, Robin, on Sunday. We've all been cleaning like crazy! I hope all goes well, and we get all of the cleaning done in time for the baby shower.

We don't have the twins today, so I get a bit more leisure time today.

We're going to Grandma's house today!

We have church tomorrow, so we'll probably be waking up a bit earlier tomorrow.

And that's about it.

You know what, pictures, weather, and Tippy

Hi everyone! I finished the first quarter of school on Tuesday, and now the computer has to catch up with me! (Tee hee) So until the computer catches up, I have no schoolwork to do! So it's basically like another summer vacation, but shorter.

I'll add some pictures ASAP, as soon as I can access them. (My dad made my computer the Media Center computer, so I didn't have access to the pictures after that. Oh well!)

It's been very nice out here for the last few days! (Warm, sunny, etc. You get the picture, right?) I'm very glad that it's so nice about, because I get to ride my bike more often! We also get to play "Tippy". (We hang on the swing set and stand on the top of our red toy car, and then one of us, which is usually me, tips it over, hence the name "Tippy".

I have to sign off. : (

Loooooong Day

It's only 9:33 AM, but I can tell already that it's going to be a very busy day, because 1), Mom has a Bible study meeting tonight at church. 2), We have ALL of the kids here today. (Porter, Rachel, the twins, Big Ethan, Abby, and me.) and 3), It's a school day.

And that's just naming a few! Well, at least one of my favorite TV shows is on tonight. (Hannah Montana) AND, it's one of my all-time favorite episodes, too! (It's called "Good Golly Miss Dolly", because Dolly Parton is a guest star in this episode. (She plays Miley and Jackson's aunt)

"When your pants are as tight as mine, you got to have somewhere to put your phone!"--Aunt Dolly, aka, Dolly Parton.

I just love the part when she says that! Anyways, I've got to sign off. :(

You should know what it's going to be about by now

WHEW! I had to read 17 (!) chapters of 1 book for school today, since I got a little behind on my English assignments because I didn't have the book. It took 3 (!) hours, and I'm glad it's over with. I only need to read it for about 2 more days, though, since I read more than half the book in one sitting. (I usually read more than that for fun, and I wasn't too fond of the book, so it seemed a lot longer.) Now I have 2 hours of leisure time. (Give or take)

Well, I gotta go. Bye!

Cute Picture

Just thought I'd share this adorable picture with all of you guys and girls reading this.

Comments, and Toontown

*TV commentator voice* Would you like to see new posts on this blog everyday? Then leave some comments! The owner has had this blog for a month, and there are absolutely NO comments! Not even spam! So please comment on this blog whenever possible, and the owner of the blog will try to update her blog everyday, or whenever possible.

News update: I'm thinking of buying ToonTown! (It's extremely fun. You get to go fishing, ride on the trolley, play games, and more. And, no, I did not quote the commercial!) Ethan (my brother) has bought the subscription, while me, having no money, (Ok, close to no money.) *cough* $3.00 *cough* have been making multiple accounts to play the free 3 day trial. My latest username is so cool! (It's "vanillachocolate10" without the quotes) I also love my "Toon's" name. (It's "Princess Candy Lemonbubble" without the quotes) I wish you could type your own name for your Toon in the free trial, but nooo! You have to buy the $10.00-a-MONTH subscription! (Honestly, it's a little ridiculous to pay that much for a website. It's even more ridiculous that you only get a 3 day trial!)

Well, I have to sign off. :( Bye!

School, and Azteca (Are you seeing a pattern that includes school in it yet?)

News flash: I should be finishing the school year in mid-December or so, because I usually do about 3 days of schoolwork every school day. (Just thought I'd share that with all of you guys and girls reading this.)

I went out to dinner last night with my friend Lindsey, her sister Rachel, and their mom. We went to Azteca. YUM! I had a grilled cheese sandwich for dinner, (It was sooooo good!) and chocolate mousse for dessert. (Double yum!) Lindsey and Rachel also had chocolate mousse for dessert. (Great minds think alike.)

And I think that's about it for today.

♥Sierra♥

P.S. They didn't have very Mexican-like food there on the kids' menu, though. (Macaroni and cheese, chicken strips, grilled cheese sandwich, etc.)

Bedroom Switcharoo, and my awesome imaginary friend

I am so tired! We stayed up until about 9:00 PM to switch our rooms around, so I am now bunking with Abby, and Ethan has his own room. There is also a rumor about Abby and I getting bunk beds, but shhhh! You didn't hear it from me. You heard it from my imaginary friend, who is a rabid squirrel with fleas (What can I say? I'm in a creative mood.) who can, unfortunately, speak English. Moving our beds and taking every single possesion we own to the living room, Mom's bed, etc., was a real pain, and it took me 4 (!) hours just to organize my room, put posters, up, throw stuff away, etc. I was ecstatic when Mom said I only had to do 1 day of schoolwork, instead of 3 days. YAY! Our room now looks great, clean, which happens to have a ton of posters on the walls, above the closets, and more. WHEW! Well, I gotta sign off. Bye!

School and Shopping

Hi everyone!

WHEW! I did 3 days worth of schoolwork today, which took me more than 3 hours. I'm glad I'm finally done! I had to do mostly reading, but I had some tests and quizzes as well.

My friend Deedee and I went to the mall on Sunday. We went to the following stores:
Limited Too
Club Libby Lu (I got a backpack and a tube of candy)
Build-A-Bear-Workshop (I got a Snow Leopard and a free book)
The Apple Store (I wanted to buy an accessory for one of my iPods, but I only had about $11.00 left. :( )
Cold Stone Creamery (Ok, it's not really a store; it sells ice cream, but we still went there! I got Cotton Candy flavored ice cream there.)
Borders Books (I got a Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends (it's a TV show on Cartoon Network) coloring book for my brother Ethan, and a Barbie coloring book for Abby)
Payless (It's a shoe store, if you didn't already know.)
Sears
Sweet Factory (They had lollipop bigger than Deedee's head!!!! I probably would have bought one if they weren't $31.00 each. YIKES!)
and I think that's it. My Mom and Dad gave me $40.00 for the mall, and when I came back home, I only had $3.00 left! Suprisingly, Mom and Dad weren't very suprised. Ethan and Abby loved their coloring books, as well.

WHEW! That's a lot of typing. Well, there's nothing left I can think of to write about, so I guess I'll sign off. Bye!

My Knuckle, Sleepovers, School, and Grandma's House

Hi everyone! This is going to be a short post, since I don't have much to write.

My knuckle doesn't hurt very much anymore, so I can type freely without having to worry about hurting my finger.

I'm sleeping over at Deedee's tomorrow! Yay!

I'm about half way done with the first quarter of school. I'm going to finish a few weeks early. I don't know the exact date, but it'll be a few weeks before a lot of my other classmates.

We're going to Grandma's house today! Yay!

And that's about it.

Burnt Knuckles, Babies, Books, Birthdays, and Awana. Tired yet?

Blame the typos in this post on my keyboard, not me. I burned my hand while taking the chicken nuggets for lunch out of the oven, and the left pot holder slipped, and I burned my knuckle on the pan. OUCH!

Anyways, Baby Ethan can now roll over while on his back. He's getting so big!

Also: I'm working on my next book, and I think it's coming along quite well. I'm not sure what the plot should be about this time, (Hey, am I supposed to know everything?) but it should be done in a few months.

In other news, my friend Deedee's birthday party is this weekend. YAY! My friend Liliana from church will also be invited, and we'll be going to the mall. Double yay! I'm not sure what to get her yet, though. After the mall, we're going to have a slumber party.

Awana started last Sunday, which was fun. There were a few new kids there, including 2 new girls! I got 3 sections done. Also: Now we're going to get a ticket for every verse we say with our name on it, and then at the end of every club night, one of us is going to pick a random ticket, and if your name is on the ticket, you get a piece of candy!

Well, that's about it for now.

School, New Shoes, New Jeans, and Awana

Hi everyone! School is going pretty good. So far I've been getting all A's and B's.

I got new shoes over the weekend! They're white with glitter on them. Simple, but cute. They're a size 6, and my mom started flipping out while we were at the mall after I bought them. (She flipped out because her Aunt's size 5 1/2 shoes were too big for her to wear to a school dance, and she was 15! I, on the other hand, am only 10 and wearing size 6 shoes.)

I also got a few new pairs of jeans a few hours ago! They're a bit big in the behind, but other than that, they fit pretty well.

Awana started yesterday, and I was off to a pretty good start. I got 3 sections done, (I usually only do 1) and I didn't even practice my verses beforehand! I was happy for quite a while after that.

Whew! That's a lot more than I usually write! Well, I guess I should sign off. (I don't have anything else to write either, so that makes it easy.)

Picnics and Birthdays

Hi everyone! We got home from a picnic about a half an hour ago. It was so fun! They had a Bouncy House, a Robo Surfer, a HUMONGOUS slide, and lots of games and food. Ethan and Abby loved it.

My friend Deedee's 12th birthday is on the 12th, (that's kind of weird) and she's having a slumber party. I can't wait to go! We're going to go to Build-A-Bear Workshop while we're at the mall. I can't wait!

Well, that's about it. Bye for now!

Babies and School

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't updated my blog in a couple of days. I've been busy with school and the twins lately.

The twins are so adorable! Ethan even giggled the other day when his Mom was playing with him. He's getting so big!

And Alison even hugged me a couple times!

Oh my gosh!!! Porter just said "ball"! He's getting so big!

I'm doing pretty well in school so far. I've been getting all A's and B's so far, so I guess that my grades say that I can do 5th grade work. Why I can't do 4th grade work, I don't know.

Well, I guess that's about it. Bye!

Scrapbooking

Ok, Deedee and her grandma MIGHT be coming. But Ethan and Alison's (the twins, remember?) mom will also be coming to scrapbook with us.

Quick Summary of our Weekend

Hi everyone! I don't really have much to write today..... Let me think.... I got it!

Ok, Rachel, Rachel's mom, my friend Deedee, (mentioned in my last post) and Deedee's grandma are coming over to scrapbook.

Dad got a Clone Trooper gun (Star Wars) from Toys R Us.

And we're going to Ms. Michelle's house, (my friend Abbey's mom) for a barbecue with a few other people from our church tomorrow.

And that's about it.

I ♥ bugs!

What I just witnessed was so funny, I'm still laughing about it. Picture this: My friend Deedee is terrified of bugs, (from what I've witnessed, anyways) and there was a bee about 3 inches away from her head, so I told her, "Deedee, there's a bee next to you." So she ran off of the trampoline, fell when she landed, grabbed a towel, put it on her head, got back on the trampoline, and started rolling around. (Can't you just picture my reaction?)

The second time, there was a fly next to her, so I told her "Deedee, there's a fly next to you." so she put the towel on her head again, jumped up in the air, landed on her back, and started to roll around again. (My stomach was aching by this point)

The third time, there was a small spider on her behind, so I told her "Deedee, there's a bug on your behind." so she grabbed the towel off of her head, started to scream, put the towel on her behind and started rubbing her behind against the trampoline, and repeated the second part of this ritual one more time.

The fourth and fifth times, she saw a fly while opening the screen door to access her backyard, saw a fly, and started screaming, ran to the couch, and started trembling. TWICE!!! By this time, my cheeks and stomach hurt very badly from grinning/smiling so much, and laughing so much for long periods of time.

Well, I gotta go.

iPods, yet again

Hi everyone! I got my new iPod last night! Unfortunately, they discontinued the iPod Minis, so now you can only get iPod Minis on the website, and those are the refurbished ones. So I got a Nano, and I just finished registering it and putting the songs on it, and I'm now listening to it. It's a lot more complicated to use than my Shuffle, but it's so cool!

School, iPods, and babies

Hi everyone! I'm going to be really busy when school starts, so I may update my blog a bit late some days. (School starts on the 5th, by the way.)

It'll be a bit difficult to finish my schoolwork with the twins, as they love to be held and fed constantly. They're very cute, though! And I think Alison is starting to like me, because yesterday she "christened" my hand in spit-up! Oh well. It's wash-able.

I'm getting my iPod Mini today! Yay! I've decided that whichever one I like better in person, (or the one that they have in stock if they don't have any more of the other) I'll get.

Well, I think that's about it for now. Bye!

Yet another short and small update (Seeing a pattern yet?)

Hi everyone! I still haven't decided which one to get, so I'm going to get the one I like better in person. (I'm talking about my iPod Mini)

I'm going need to save up for a lanyard or something though, since it comes with a belt clip instead of a lanyard.

Anyways, both of the twins are asleep, but they should be waking up soon. They're so cute!

I just remembered: school starts on the 5th. That's only 5 days away. Yikes!!!

Well, in other news, I feel a lot better! My stomach still hurts constantly, though. : (

And I think that's about it for today, since I can't think of anything else to write.

iPods, and barfing, and laziness, oh my!

Sorry I haven't updated my blog lately. I got some sort of bug yesterday at about 3:00 AM, which made me throw up 3 times, make me sick to my stomach, and make my back and head ache. : ( It stank big time! (Literally!)

Anyways, I'm going to get a new iPod! I just can't decide to get a Pink or Blue iPod Mini. I like both colors equally, which makes it harder to choose! Oh well. At least I have until Friday to decide.

Whew! This is taking longer to write than I thought! It's a good thing there's a "Save As Draft" button!

Well, I think that's about it for now.

Short Update

Hi everyone! What's up? We just got home from church. It was pretty fun, because my friend Liliana was there too.

We're going to do a skit in a couple of weeks. We ran through it twice today during Shabbat school. I really like it, because I get to do gymnastics tricks.

Well, I gotta sign off. :(

Bored

Hey everybody! What's up? I know, I know, I've already written a post today, but I'm bored and have nothing better to do. XD

Anyways, this is gonna be a really short post since I promised McKenna that I'd play outside with her in 2 minutes. I'm in the mood to play "Billy Bob Tag" (Don't ask) so I figured, "Why not?".

Oh shoot. I just a heard a crash, and Porter cooing. Gee, I wonder who it could be. (Please note the sarcasm) I should sign off. Bye!

Welcome to Sierra's World!

Hi! Welcome to my new blog, Sierra's World. I'm 10.5 yrs. old, and will be going into the 5th grade in the fall. I attend the Jubilee Academy and have been homeschooled since I was in Kindergarten.

I'm the oldest of 3--my brother, Ethan is 7.5 yrs old, and my sister, Abby is 6 yrs. old.

Beginning next Tuesday, my mom & I will be watching TWINS! Their names are Ethan and Alison, they're 3 months old, and sooooo cute! I think they like Mom especially well, since they "christened" her with baby barf.

In addition to them, we already watch Porter (an adorable 19 mo. old), Rachel (3.5 yrs old), and McKenna until school starts (6 yrs. old).

Some things about me:

I like gymnastics and take class twice a week, baseball, shopping (lots of shopping!), vanilla bean frappuccinos, playing on Neopets, pop music, dogs, monkeys, reading (lots and lots of reading), chocolate, TV shows like Spongebob Squarepants, Hannah Montana, and Lizzie McGuire, and hanging out with my friends.

I'll try to update my blog every day, and maybe add a couple of pictures when I'm not feeling lazy.
